Ola Jordan will miss the Strictly Come Dancing final after a potentially serious leg injury

The pro dancer had been in training for new Channel 4 show The Jump, which sees celebs take on Winter Sports challenges such as skiing and skating.

But rehearsals saw Ola take a tumble that's forced her out of the show before it's even aired.

Currently in hospital, Ola's injury has been described as "serious" and "career changing", and it's ruled her out of the remaining Strictly shows.

Ola had been due to appear in tonight's results show as part of the professional's routine, as well as next weekend's final.

“This is not an ideal scenario on the eve of our biggest shows of the year," a source said today. "While naturally concerned for Ola’s well-being, the producers are seething that she was hurt while training for a rival show."

The insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “We just cannot understand what she was thinking, doing winter sports while Strictly is at such a crucial stage.”

Unfortunately for Ola, her injury has not only ruled her out of both The Jump and Strictly but also a planned reality series with husband James Jordan due to have aired on Channel 4 next year.
