Strictly Come Dancing 2014: Frankie Bridge struggling with intense schedule

Frankie Bridge

Strictly Come Dancing's Frankie Bridge has been struggling to cope with her intense training schedule.

The Saturday's star, who became a mum last year, went straight from touring with her group to rehearsals for the first live show earlier this month.

Now she's apparently finding it difficult to juggle training with looking after her son Parker.

A supposed Strictly insider told Star magazine this week: "The hours she's putting in for Strictly are exhausting enough, but the sleepless nights with Parker are absolutely draining her."

They added: "She thought she would be able to power through but it's proving to be so much harder than she anticipated"

Frankie herself confessed that taking part in Strictly was a tough choice for her.

"It's definitely one of the scariest things I've ever done, especially as I'm so used to being with The Saturdays," she said.

The singer, who had originally been lined up for last year's show before falling pregnant, went on: "Doing something like this alone is nerve racking enough, but on top of that I'm learning a different style of dance with only one chance of getting it right, it's frightening."
