Gregg Wallace has admitted he's happy to be out of Strictly Come Dancing 2014.
He said after his exit from the show: “It’s a huge relief – I wasn’t as good at it as I thought I was. It was causing me a great deal of anxiety and stress."
Gregg revealed how he was in TEARS backstage before the results show and dancing again.
He explained: "I was really, really scared. I was so frustrated that I could do it in rehearsal but not in the studio.
“One of the show’s bosses said, ‘Don’t worry about trying to be Gregg Wallace the BBC presenter. If you’re scared tell everyone at home what’s going on.’ That made me feel better.”
Gregg went on: “It was complete and utter unadulterated terror. It was ‘oh dear god, what am I supposed to be doing? I can’t remember my steps’.”
The 49-year-old also took a swipe at his pro partner Aliona Vilani, saying that there was "nothing warm" about the "scary" performer.
He added: “I was never going to earn her affection but I did earn her respect. She actually produced a dance from me I’m very proud of. I’m very proud of last night’s performance and she did that.”
Strictly Come Dancing continues next weekend on BBC One.
