X Factor was down around 500,000 viewers on last Saturday, although fortunately up around a million on Friday's new show.

Year-on-year, Strictly was slightly down, having attracted 9.2 million last year, but X Factor has lost over a million viewers, having had 8.5 million during the equivalent episode in 2013.
