Earlier this month the ITV and BBC one juggernauts faced off against one another, with Strictly's launch show easily beating The X Factor by over a million viewers.
Strictly returns next Friday night with its first live show at 9PM, going head to head with a new Friday X Factor bootcamp show at the same time.
However on the Saturday, the two shows will overlap by only 30 minutes after the BBC decided to move Strictly to an earlier time slot, putting the new series of Doctor Who on after.
Strictly will run from 7PM until 8:30PM, followed by the new episode of Doctor Who until 9:15PM.
The X Factor meanwhile runs from 8PM until 9:20PM.
While it's good news for us reality telly fans, lovers of Doctor Who aren't too happy at the show seemingly being used to avoid a head on clash between The X Factor and Strictly.
But the decision is sure to please X Factor boss Simon Cowell, who hit out at the BBC earlier this week over the clashes between the two shows.
"There is no logic for putting the shows on at the same time other than the belief that they can beat us and they want to harm the other show. It is what it what but why not say that," he said.
Simon went on to describe ITV's decision to add a new Friday X Factor show as an "experiment".
