The Strictly Come Dancing 2014 celebrities have been paired with their professional partners - see who's with who here!

In tonight's launch show, hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced each pairing at the Strictly Come Dancing 2014 premiere on BBC One on Sunday night.

The pro dancers will guide the celebs through every step on the ballroom floor for up to the next four months.

The celebrities now have three weeks to train with their new partner before returning to the Strictly ballroom to perform live to the nation for the very first time.

The female celebrity pairings are:

Pixie Lott and Trent Whiddon
Jennifer Gibney and Tristan McManus
Judy Murray and Anton Du Beke
Alison Hammond and Aljaz Skorjanec
Sunetra Sarker and Brendan Cole
Caroline Flack and Pasha Kovalev
Frankie Bridge and Kevin Clifton

The male celebrity pairings are:

Greg Wallace and Aliona Vilani
Scott Mills and Joanne Clifton
Tim Wonnacott and Natalie Lowe
Mark Wright and Karen Hauer
Simon Webbe and Kristina Rihanoff
Thom Evans and Iveta Lukosiute
Jake Wood and Janette Manrara
Steve Backshall and Ola Jordan

Scott Mills said of being paired with Joanne Clifton: “I secretly always wanted Joanne! We are very happy. We genuinely get on – I’m really looking forward to it!”

Mark Wright said of being paired with Karen Hauer: “I am absolutely buzzing! Every single morning we go in, Karen is always smiling – she’s so kind and I need someone who isn’t going to be too harsh, someone friendly and patient!”

Steve Backshall said of being paired with Ola Jordan: “I have a friend who’s a dancer and she said to me ‘You want Ola because she’s a fantastic dancer and she can make anyone look good’ meaning ‘even you’!”

Tonight's Strictly premiere also saw Sir Bruce Forsyth make a special appearance to hand the presenting baton to Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.

And there was also a special guest appearance from last year's champion, Abbey Clancy and her partner Aljaz Skorjanec, reunited for one very last time to perform their Waltz to 'Kissing You'.

The Strictly Come Dancing live shows start returns on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th of September when the 15 celebrities and their professional dancers take to the dance floor for the very first time... LIVE!
