The singer is one of fifteen celebs on the show this year but she's not a believer in the so-called Strictly curse.
The BBC One show has a rather bad reputation for splitting up couples, with celebrities' real life partners sometimes getting jealous over the close relationships with the pro dancers.
But Pixie - who is dating model Oliver Cheshire - insisted: "There are some sexy dance moves but it is all acting."
She added: "You just have to get into character for some of the feisty dances like the rhumba. But it will all be acting at the end of the day."
In an interview The Sun newspaper, Pixie also revealed she would be keeping her trademark pale complexion for the show.
"I won't be tanning up for Strictly. Some of the girls already have but it is not really my thing," she said.
And the Broken Arrow performer admitted she was glad to see some familiar faces on the line up.
She said: "I was so pleased that some people I know like Frankie Bridge were doing it, and Mark Wright and Simon Webbe.
"I did not want to turn up and it be like the first day of school and I don't know anyone."
Pixie went on: "I don't see Frankie as a rival. I have known her for years.
"When I was 18 I supported The Saturdays and then I released my single and we have seen each other at events ever since. She is a good friend."
Strictly starts on Sunday at 8PM on BBC One.
