Blue's Simon Webbe is the fifth celebrity to be confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing 2014.
He made the announcement this morning, speaking on ITV's Good Morning Britain.
Best known as a member of boy band Blue, Simon shot to fame in 2001 with the release of their debut single "All Rise". The band went on to achieve 40 number ones worldwide and sold 16 million records, including hits such as "One Love" and "Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word", featuring Elton John.
The band separated in 2004 but reformed once again in 2009. They represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest in Germany in 2011, finishing in 11th place and have also recently taken part in ITV's Big Reunion documentary and arena tour. They toured 21 countries, played 173 shows to over 600,000 people.
"I am so happy to be joining the team and I cannot wait to get started. I'm hopeful that Strictly Come Dancing will help me to improve on my daddy dancing skills. I want to make my daughter proud and no doubt she will be teaching me a pirouette or two along the way" said Simon.
Simon previously tested his dancing skills on the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special in 2011, when he danced the cha-cha with professional partner Katya Virshilas.
Simon is the second male name to be confirmed for this year's line-up and will be joining Thom Evans, Alison Hammond, Judy Murray and Frankie Bridge and 10 other celebrities as they compete for the coveted glitter ball trophy.
Names rumoured to be joining them include Xtra Factor's Caroline Flack, TOWIE's Mark Wright, singer Pixie Lott and hard man Ross Kemp, as well as Masterchef's Greg Wallace.
