TOWIE's Joey Essex is one of a number of 'hunks' being tipped for the Strictly Come Dancing 2014 line up.

He joins a rumoured cast that already consists of fellow TOWIE star Mark Wright, Capital FM DJ Dave Berry and rugby star Thom Evans.

The Daily Mirror newspaper reports that Strictly chiefs are keen to win over female viewers against the X Factor with the good looking line up.

“Strictly wants to get the females in in their droves, hunky men are the key," a rather vain source claimed today. "Women love the show, especially if there are men who look good and come across nicely, it’s been proved to be a winning formula in the past."

Strictly judge Bruno Tonioli teased: “I know who is going to be on the show this year, just wait and everyone will be very pleased.

“I’m very excited, the ladies will be very pleased as well.

"It’s going to be a brilliant show this year, we’re all really looking forward to it.”

However guys aren't missing out: The first of the confirmed celebs is none other than The Saturdays beauty Frankie Bridge.

Other rumoured names include Pixie Lott, Helen Skelton and Caroline Flack, along with Ross Kemp and Greg Wallace.
