Alison Hammond is set to take to the Strictly Come Dancing 2014 dancefloor this year.
The This Morning host is set to be the latest ITV star to join the BBC series.
According to The Sun newspaper, Strictly bosses hope loudmouth Alison, who rose to fame on Big Brother back in 2002, will entertain viewers.
A Strictly source told the newspaper: “Alison’s personality is infectious and the bosses are sure she will be popular. She has the kind of charisma and humour that people love.
“She was genuinely delighted to be asked to join. There is no doubt she will throw everything into her dance training. She could be one of this year’s real surprises.”
And the tabloid reports that Alison became inspired to take on the show following the success of Lisa Riley and Richard Arnold.
The source added: “Alison has always loved Strictly but she never thought it was a possibility until she saw Lisa do so well.
"The fact Richard loved it too made it even more appealing. So she jumped at the chance this year."
Some other stars that have been linked to the new series include Match of the Day football pundit Alan Hansen, TV hard man Ross Kemp, TOWIE's Mark Wright, Capital FM's Dave Berry and Blue Peter's Helen Skelton
The new run of Strictly starts in September on BBC One.
