Monty Python's Carol Cleveland is in 'advanced talks' to take part in Strictly Come Dancing 2014.
The 72-year-old has recently appeared in the comedy troupe's arena comeback tour, having previously rose to fame in the show's sketches back in the in 1970s.
According to The Sun newspaper this morning, Carol has yet to formally sign up but is in talks and is keen to "prove the older generation can move".
A source told the tabloid: “Carol is confident she’ll be able to give it a go and not just be another old duffer.”
Some other celebs that have been linked to the new series include Match of the Day football pundit Alan Hansen, TV hard man Ross Kemp, TOWIE's Mark Wright, Capital FM's Dave Berry and Blue Peter's Helen Skelton
The latest run of Strictly starts in September on BBC One.
