Strictly Come Dancing 2014 professional Ola Jordan has revealed husband James persuaded her to return.
Despite getting the axe from the BBC One series, James encouraged Ola to go against her own wishes and continue to dance on the show.
She revealed this weekend: "I originally said 'no' to going back.
"When I heard James wasn't coming back I was thinking 'If he isn't going back, I won't'.
"I wanted to stick by him because I have massive respect for him."
Ola explained: "But he changed my mind. He basically persuaded me to do it.
"He's been on the show for eight years with me, so it'll be different this year. It'll be strange for me."
In an interview with the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper, Ola suggested that losing James as well as fellow pro Artem Chigvintsev could hurt the show.
She told the tabloid: "I know for sure it's going to be hard for Strictly losing James.
"And Artem as well. They're both manly, good-looking boys. There were definitely fans tuning in to see them and they might not watch now. I think they won't."
The Latin dancer said of the annual X Factor ratings war: "I don't know if we'll beat them. It will be interesting to see what happens.
"We won't have Bruce Forsyth presenting this year and I think the show will miss him very much. Hopefully we'll still be on top but I don't know if we will."
