The latest National Television Awards have been announced, and the odds suggest Strictly is on course to pick up the gong for Best Talent Show.

However And Ant and Dec will once again sweep up at the National Television Awards according to Ladbrokes.

The Geordie duo are the red hot favourites at 1/3 to scoop the best entertainment presenters award for the 13th year in a row, and they also find themselves fancied at 1/4 to walk away with the best entertainment programme for their efforts on I'm A Celebrity.. Get Me Out of Here, whilst it's a 6/1 chance that they take home the same award for Saturday Night Takeaway.

After wiping the floor with TV ratings in 2013 it's no surprise to see Strictly Come Dancing favoured to land the prize for best talent show of the year, leaving Simon Cowell's empire of X Factor and Britain's Got Talent to battle it out for second spot at 5/2.

Eastenders might have lost out on Christmas Day but at 4/5 it's odds-on Walford's finest pick up the best serial drama award later this month, but Coronation Street is providing tough competition at 11/10.

And finally, fans of The Great British Bake Off will be pleased to see it leads the betting at even money to win the best factual entertainment category.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "Ant and Dec winning at the NTAs is the same as night following day, and 2014 looks set to be a carbon copy of the last 12 years for the duo."

She added: "It's been a bumper year for the BBC and the odds suggest all the favourites like Strictly, Eastenders and Bake Off will scoop up all the gongs."
