The Saturdays star Rochelle Humes has admitted to being rather embarrassed by her performance on the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special.
The singer - who performed a salsa with pro partner Ian Waite - struggled both in training and on the dacefloor.
The new mum said in hr VT before the performance: “Staying on my feet is the most important thing. I just don’t want to fall over”.
After the routine, Craig Revel Horwood ripped into her: “It was all over the toy shop. The haphazard kick thing had Bruno and I gasping”.
And head judge Len Goodman added: “You were like a party popper. There were bits flying everywhere. And, like a party popper, it got messy."
Speaking after the show, Rochelle admitted she was glad her young daughter wouldn't remember her rather shoddy moves.
“I am glad she is young enough to not know what is going on. I’m pleased she is not at school age!" she laughed. “I think she would have something to say about it if she was.”
The popstar, married to JLS' singer Marvin Humes, added: “It is so much more exhausting than I thought it would be.
“I take my hat off to the people who do the competition all the time – it's really full-on.”
Comic Rufus Hound won the festive special last night with his tango with pro partner Flavia Cacace.
Rufus said: “It’s surreal in the extreme. We didn’t really set out to win and I don’t know what it means.”
