Comic Rufus Hound has won tonight's Strictly Come Dancing 2013 Christmas special.
Just a few days after the grand finale of the 2013 series, Strictly Come Dancing quickstepped back to screens to deck the halls with glitterballs for a one-off seasonal special, which saw Rufus crowned King of the Christmas Ballroom.
The six-star line-up brought a sprinkling of festive sparkle to Christmas day: Star of The Sautrdays Rochelle Humes danced with Ian Waite, Radio 1 DJ Sara Cox was partnered with Robin Windsor and musical theatre legend Elaine Paige took to the dancefloor with Pasha Kovalev.
As for the male celebs, singer Matt Goss danced with Aliona Vilani, Eastenders actor Ricky Norwood snowboarded into his routine with Janette Manrara while TV funnyman Rufus Hound was partnered with Flavia Cacace.
After watching all dances, the studio audience cast their vote for their favourite and then Sir Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly announced that the champion of the Strictly Come Dancing 2013 Christmas special was Rufus and Flavia.
Reflecting back on the results of tonight's show, Rufus stated "It feels surreal in the extreme we didn't really set out to win so the fact that this has happened, I don't know what it means.".
For Rufus and Flavia, the judges commented:
Len Goodman 9/10
"What it lacked in technique it made up for in entertainment, it was great fun and I thoroughly enjoyed it."
Darcey Bussell 10/10
"I thought you were an unusually hot Eskimo. I've never seen such an entertaining ballroom tango, I liked it very much."
Bruno Toniloi 10/10
"That really was a nutcracker of a tango. It was funny, it was perfectly pitched for the season. "
Craig Revel Horwood 9/10
"That has to be one of the most abnormal, unusual and curious tangos Ive ever watched. However strange and bizarre odd it was, I loved it."
Strictly returns in the autumn on BBC One.
