Strictly Come Dancing 2013 winner Abbey Clancy has insisted there's no jealousy between her hubby and pro partner!

Abbey and dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec stormed to victory in the weekend's final, defying the odds to top the public vote.

While Strictly has a bad reputation for hurting relationships - with jealousy said to be one of the problems that saw Rachel Riley split from her husband this series - Abbey explained it wasn't a problem for her and Peter Crouch.

"Why would he be jealous? Pete’s been wonderful and he wasn’t jealous at all. He loves the show," Abbey told the Daily Mirror newspaper. “I think he’s looking forward to having me back. We’ll be doing lots of dancing in the living room – we do that anyway.

"When I won he kissed me and twirled me around – he’s amazing.”

Meanwhile, Abbey suggested that one of the reasons she may have won the competition was because of her lower profile.

The model, who competed against Corrie's Natalie Gumede, popstar Sophie Ellis-Bextor and BBC newsreader Susanna Reid in Saturday's show, explained: “I just think people are used to seeing pictures of me, I haven’t got a strong TV career and people don’t see me speak so much, this has been good for that.

"People have seen what I’m like everyday and people haven’t been that negative towards me”.

Strictly will return to BBC One for another series next autumn.
