Strictly Come Dancing's Abbey Clancy was in tears at the weekend after being in the dance off.
Saturday night’s hair raising Strictly was full of ghosts and ghouls as hosts Sir Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly invited the eleven remaining couples to take to the dance floor for the Halloween special in a bid to impress judges Len Goodman, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli & Craig Revel Horwood, and the viewers at home.
This week it was model Abbey and her partner Aljaž Skorjanec; and TV Presenter Rachel Riley and her partner Pasha Kovalev in the bottom two, facing the dance-off to determine who would be the fifth couple voted out of the competition.
After both couples had danced a second time, the judges delivered their verdicts with Craig, Darcey and Bruno all choosing to save Abbey in the latest Strictly Come Dancing 2013 results.
Speaking after her exit today, Rachel told how she comforted Abbey who was in tears after the results.
"The whole room let out a huge gasp when they found out Abbey was in the bottom two. It was a real shock," Rachel recalled. "“Poor Abbey, we had lots of cuddles.
"I felt really bad because we are really good friends. She was really upset. She hadn’t been in the dance-off before and she did an amazing dance, so it was a real shock to the system to be in the bottom two.”
Looking back at her time on the show, Rachel said: “I haven’t cried until now, I have made some amazing friends. I really enjoyed tonight, I really enjoyed yesterday’s dance so I’m really pleased to go out on a high.
"Abbey is just gorgeous, a gorgeous dancer, a gorgeous girl and I have no shame in getting knocked out to her. I have just loved it - from the make-up, to the hair - the whole show.”
Next week Strictly Come Dancing is on Saturday 9th November at 6.30pm and will be marking Remembrance Day, with the results show on Sunday 10th November at 7.20pm on BBC One and BBC One HD.
