Abbey Clancy's husband came to the aid of her Strictly Come Dancing rival this weekend.
Footie star Peter Crouch called in a favour from a pal to help out Susanna Reid in rehearsals.
BBC breakfast presenter Susanna was suffering from back pain ahead of the live shows on Friday night, but Peter called in a physio to help her out.
A Strictly insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper this weekend: “The physio found she’d popped some ribs. He was able to manipulate them and pop them back in.”
They added: “Abbey had found out the Leicester team were at the same hotel preparing for a game at Watford so she called Peter and asked him to get in touch with the club to see if he could arrange a physio.
"Thanks to him she’s on the mend. And as for Peter, he’s a gent and the show’s saviour.”
Last night it looked like the treatment worked, as Susanna performed to get her best marks of the series so far.
The TV host danced the Charleston to get 34 marks from the judges, despite the pain.
The source added: “She’s on painkillers. Her final rehearsal was put back to give her more time to recover.”
