Strictly Come Dancing news: Abbey Clancy gets Peter Crouch to train with her

Abbey Clancy (Strictly Come Dancing 2013)

Abbey Clancy has been making good use of her husband for Strictly Come Dancing 2013 training.

The model has been partnered with hunky new pro Aljaž Skorjanec for the series, but has been getting her partner Peter Crouch involved in her rehearsals.

Abbey has been making use of the football player's 6ft 7in height to help improve her posture.

The mum of one confessed: "I have got horrendous posture, that is what we are focusing on at the minute, the hold."

She added: "It feels like such an awkward position to be in - head stretched, its uncomfortable and unnatural.

"But with practice, I'll get it. Peter and I had a practice at home, I've been trying to teach Peter the waltz."

While things improve with Abbey however, her Strictly rival Rachel Riley is still struggling.

The Countdown TV host is partnered with Pasha Kovalev on the series but their opening chair routine hasn't been going great in rehearsals so far.

"Pasha was using a chair earlier to go through the routine as it has more grace and elegance than me," Rachel admitted.

Strictly Come Dancing 2013 airs from October on BBC One.
