In what seems to be like a yearly claim, Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood reckons this year has the best line up yet.
Despite complaints over the rather lacklustre names compared to last year, Craig predicts that this series will once again prove to be a hit.
Announced as part of the fifteen celebs on Monday were the likes of popstar Sophie Ellis Bexter, TV host Vanessa Feltz and Countdown's Rachel Riley.
"I’m really looking forward to the show — I always do. Last year was brilliant and I think this year could potentially be even better," Craig said today. “It’s all down to the cast because it’s never the contestants you think will be good that end up being good. Look at Lisa Riley’s performance last year.
“We all thought she’d be the next Ann Widdecombe and then she was so good that I planned an entire show — Strictly Confidential — around her."
Craig suggested there could well be some sizzling pairings on the dancefloor this year, but insisted that the show didn't need romance to win viewers.
He told The Sun newspaper: “There will always be an element of sex appeal with Strictly because you have a man and a woman dancing passionate routines together.
“If they are doing something like a paso doble, they need to act it out. So there always needs to be that chemistry and that’s what people like to see. That’s why people always end up getting together on the show. That said, there were no romances last year and we still got 14million viewers.”
Strictly Come Dancing launches this Saturday night at 6:50PM on BBC One.
