But before you get all excited about seeing Nick strutting his stuff on the dance floor, you can think again.
The PR guru has no plans to accept the offer, or to take part in any other reality show any time soon.
He explained: "I was offered Strictly, but it would be an impossibility.
"I'm not a dancer, but then, I guess, neither was Patrick Sergeant [John Sergeant]. I would guess it was very good for him, as he wasn't doing anything else."
"Ann Widdecombe did it, I don't know what she was thinking. I've spoken to her about it and she loved it. I would prefer to undergo an intensive root canal surgery, I'm 69!"
But Nick's reluctance to compete in Strictly has nothing to do with any offers from ITV to enter the I'm A Celebrity jungle.
The Countdown host blasted the Aussie show: "I'm A Celeb... What a terrible thing to do, what a bloody waste of time."
And he ranted: "Why do people do these things? For the money?"
Don't forget "for the experience", Nick!
Strictly will be back on BBC One in the autumn while you can catch Nick on The Apprentice, Wednesday nights on BBC One.
