Spice Girl Mel C has said she wants to compete in Strictly Come Dancing 2013!
The singer revealed she wanted to take part in the BBC One series for her young daughter, Scarlet.
“Scarlet loves dancing and she loves Strictly," Mel said of her three-year-old. “I think I’ll have to do it just to make her proud.
“I’m a fan too, so you never know.”
Mel's fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton finished third on the series in 2006, while Mel B took part in the US version, Dancing With The Stars.
But Mel admitted that being away from her daughter for work was often hard.
“For me, going to work is the break I need to really appreciate our time together," she said. “But then when you are away you feel guilty and you miss things.
“It’s a constant balancing act which you are always trying to get right.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns for its 11th series at the end of the year.
Other stars rumoured to be on the show include former X factor winner Joe McElderry and TOWIE’s Mark Wright, as well as footballer Michael Owen.
Meanwhile both Big Brother host Davina McCall and Mark’s fellow former TOWIE cast member Lauren Pope have said they’d be up for competing.
