Ex Slade star Noddy Holder is reportedly being lined up for Strictly Come Dancing 2013.
The musician is apparently on a wish list of stars put together by the show's team for the new series, which starts in the autumn.
The 66-year-old confirmed he had been offered a spot on the line up, but admitted he was worried about being too old for the show.
Although his wife seems to be encouraging him to take up the offer.
The 'Merry Xmas Everybody' performer told the Daily Star today: “I get asked to do all the reality shows but I’m in my late sixties now. I can’t be going to the North Pole and the jungle.
“I have been asked to do Strictly and I like the show — I’ve been down to watch it being filmed with my missus, who is a huge fan and keeps badgering me to do it."
However he added: “But it’s a lot of work.
"I know Johnny Ball did it and he’s almost ten years older than me, but he went out in the first week. I’m competitive and I want to think I’d have a chance of winning it.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns for its 11th series at the end of the year.
Other stars rumoured to be on the show include former X factor winner Joe McElderry and TOWIE’s Mark Wright, as well as footballer Michael Owen.
Meanwhile both Big Brother host Davina McCall and Mark’s fellow former TOWIE cast member Lauren Pope have said they’d be up for competing.
