Strictly Come Dancing is really, really, REALLY hard, pro dancer Brendan Cole has said.
Last year saw the New Zealander partnered with the useless Victoria Pendleton, and he confessed there were advantages to having been eliminated so early.
Brendan said leaving just half way through the series was "bitter sweet".
He told What's On TV: "Strictly is one of the hardest jobs you'll ever do as an entertainer.
"You work ridiculous hours, seven-day weeks from August until the end of the year, and you are absolutely knackered."
He added: "It's pretty much relentless.
"So on one hand, I was glad of the sleep, but on the other hand, I was sad."
Meanwhile, Brendan claimed that Victoria shouldn't have taken part in the series this year so soon after the Olympics.
"I think there was a little lack of danceability in my partnership with Vicky," he suggested. "She wasn't the best dancer in the world and I think maybe it was a bit too soon for her to get involved with Strictly after her big year. I think she needed a break."
