Strictly Come Dancing 2012: Denise Van Outen: 'The hate has been hard'

Denise Van Outen (Strictly Come Dancing)

Denise Van Outen has admitted she's found it hard dealing with the 'hate' on Strictly Come Dancing.

Denise, Kimberley Walsh, Dani Harmer and Louis remain the contest and will be competing for the glitterball trophy tonight.

It's been a tough few weeks for Denise, who's come under flack for being a 'trained' dancer.

The West End performer has been in the bottom two for the past two weeks, and tonight it will be the public alone who decides who wins.

Speaking on It Takes Two last night, Denise said: "At times it's been hard but I'm just going to forget about it now and put it behind me because we're in the final.

"I just want to enjoy the final because it doesn't actually matter. "

And Denise joked: "I do have a confess me and [my husband] Lee are Latin and ballroom dancers and we beat James and Ola in competitions, I taught him everything he knows!"

Meanwhile, Denise's pro partner James Jordan confessed he would love to win his first series.

He said: "It would be amazing to win but to be in the final, we're all really good friends, so whoever wins, comes second and third, everyone deserves their place."
