The Strictly Come Dancing judges have reportedly been giving Louis Smith harsh marks to give him a hard time.
The Olympian is said to be leading the public votes by a large margin, meaning that the panel have been making sure he earns his spot in the next round.
It was previously claimed that Louis was topping the public votes with as much as 23% of the vote, while Denise Van Outen has been bottom.
A source told the Daily Mail recently: "It’s been known behind the scenes for weeks now that Louis is a sure bet for the final.
"As a result, the judges knew there was no point giving him nines and tens every week because it would allow him no progression throughout the series."
The source added: "To be truthful, they have marked him harder than the other dancers because he is a gymnast who has a natural advantage over a rival like Lisa Riley."
However the undermarking may have had the opposite impact, with Louis having won even more support from the public over the last few weeks.
He remains the favourite to win, although Kimberley Walsh could become a contender.
'Nimble Kimble' has wowed the judges in recent weeks and punters are calling the shots and backing the Girls Aloud star for Glitterball glory, which has seen her attract 80% of all bets placed this week, making her the 7/4 second favourite (from 5/1).
