Aliona Vilani has admitted she's honoured to be partnered with Fabrice Muamba on the Strictly Come Dancing 2012 Christmas special.
The one-off show on Christmas evening will see an all star line up, with six stars who have never performed on the show as well as a line up of celebs who've appeared in previous series.
Aliona won the main Strictly competition last year with McFly's Harry Judd, but this year she never even got to perform with her pro partner Johnny Ball after she was injured rehearsing for their first dance.
And with Johnny being the first star to be eliminated, it ruled Aliona out of the whole series.
However the flame haired dancer is determined to win the Strictly Christmas special to make up for it.
“Dancing with Johnny was great but he’s 74, and it was hard for him. Basically, he went wrong and pulled me off my feet – and that was it,” she said.
She told the Daily Mirror of Fabrice however: “I am honoured to be partnered with him. He’s a natural dancer."
The Strictly Come Dancing 2012 Christmas special is on Christmas Day, BBC1 at 6.15pm
