Strictly Come Dancing final: Lisa Riley backs Denise Van Outen to win

Strictly Come Dancing 2012 semi-final - Lisa and Robin

Lisa Riley and Robin Windsor have both backed Denise Van Outen to win Strictly Come Dancing.

Kimberley Walsh, Louis Smith, Denise Van Outen and Dani Harmer made it through to the final at the weekend after Lisa was eliminated in the latest Strictly Come Dancing results

Speaking to Zoe Ball on It Takes Two last night, Lisa said she was backing her "double Ds"

She explained: "I've got to say my double Ds I'd say Dani and Denise. I want them to win.

"People need to leave Denise alone, she's entitle to a place on the show and she's amazing."

Lisa's pro partner Robin agreed: "I would say I want Denise to win, and I want everyone out there to realise she's not a trained dancer and deserves this."

Talking on the BBC Two spin off show yesterday, Lisa revealed she was proud to have made it so far in the competition.

She said: "We are so proud, its amazing, to get as far as we got when I thought I would be first out.

"It's thanks to the public who have been completely on side, I'm so grateful."

Robin added: "I wouldn't know how to state about how proud I am, week upon week she came out and was the biggest personality, it was something none of the others had."
