Len Goodman has confessed he's not sure Lisa Riley deserves to make the Strictly Come Dancing 2012 final.
The Strictly judge admitted he was often split by the Emmerdale star, with her technique poor but her performances full of energy.
He said: "My brain looks at her dancing and thinks, 'Her posture is not good, she's cumbersome', but my heart is saying she's so much fun and got so much feeling going on, its a challenge between my heart and brain."
Speaking on Strictly spin off It Takes Two last night, Len added: "My heart wants her to go through, but as a judge I have to judge with my brain and the viewers can judge with their heart. And well done to her!"
Len also praised the current series, claiming it was the best yet!
He told Zoe Ball on It Takes Two last night: "We say it every year and sometimes we say it just to say it, but it's the best one ever this year, I know everyone who's on it!
"The mix of characters, we had some good ones, funny ones... and some not so good ones."
Len especially loved Kimberley Walsh, who achieved the first perfect score of the series at the weekend.
He said: "I loved every minute of it. It was so well done, it was seamless one to another. The Cha Cha was Crisp and Clean, the Tango had fire. It was the bees knees."
