Strictly Come Dancing 2012 results: Nicky Byrne favourite for elimination

Nicky Byrne (Strictly Come Dancing)

Nicky Byrne is the favourite to leave Strictly Come Dancing 2012 in tonight's results.

It's been a rough few weeks for Nicky, who was in the dance off last week for the second time alongside pal Michael Vaughan.

The judges saved Nicky, but it was very much a bittersweet victory for the Westlife singer as Michael went home.

Last night saw Nicky's performance slated by the panel, as the remaining six celebrities took part in the show's first ever dance fusion challenge, dancing two different dance styles in the same routine.

Nicky performed a American Smooth-Foxtrot to Olly Murs ‘Troublemaker’ with pro partner Karen Hauer, and Craig Revel Horwood wasn't impressed.

He sniped: "I have a feeling we'll be seeing that dance again."

TellyMix readers suggest Denise Van Outen, Lisa Riley and Nicky could all be in danger this evening, with the trio bottom of our latest popularity poll.

Meanwhile, Louis Smith continues to prove the most popular of the remaining celebrities on the show, despite Kimberley Walsh's perfect score last night.

Two more acts will be in the dance off with one going home, while there will be a festive themed performance from Michael Buble.
