Craig Revel Horwood reckons Denise Van Outen is better than her own Strictly Come Dancing pro partner James Jordan.
It follows James' mess up at the weekend as the pair performed a Salsa to Rhythm Of The Night by Valeria.
After the dance, James confessed his mind had gone blank halfway through the performance, seeing Denise stall for time as James got back into the routine.
Speaking on It Takes Two, Craig was rather sympathetic with James, saying: "It happens to the best of us, I’ve been on in panto and stuff like that and may have forgotten a line and sometimes you draw a blank and don’t know what to do.”
Craig revealed: “I didn’t know what had gone wrong, it just looked like they were doing some terrible fill and in fact that’s exactly what they were doing.”
Praising West End star Denise for her response to James' forgetfulness, Craig said: “She still got into the lift and obviously they missed the preparation for it, which is very very difficult.
“To get out of it that puts her up in the professional stakes and if you’re dancing better than your partner, that’s really good going.”
Unfortunately for James, it seems as though he may not live down the mistake for a while.
Writing on Twitter at the start of the week, Denise teased him: "I hope @The_JamesJordan can remember where we are rehearsing today. His forgetfulness is becoming a habit #salsa"
This week Strictly Come Dancing is on Saturday 8th December at 6.50pm with the results show on Sunday 9th December at 7.20pm on BBC One and BBC One HD.
The remaining six celebrities will be taking on the show's first ever dance fusion challenge, dancing two different dance styles in the same routine.
