Strictly Come Dancing star Nicky Byrne has admitting to being over the moon with his high score on the weekend's show.
Nicky and her Charleston earned 36 points from the judges, his highest score to date.
It followed the Westlife star's first time in the dance off, and he confessed that being close to leaving spurred him on.
He told It Takes Two last night: "It was brilliant, absolutely brilliant, I suppose it goes to show what hard work does, we were close to gong home last week and this week I though we had to go for this.
"I'm so delighted that I could do it."
Pro partner Karen Hauer added: "Being in the bottom two is usually the worst thing but it was the best thing for us, it gave us more oomph and fire.
"We went into the studio last week and it was work, work work. No breaks. "
This weekend the pair are learning the Argentine Tango, the dance that saw Michael Vaughan slip into the bottom two with on Sunday night.
Nicky however was feeling confident: "It's going well, what's been my strong point so far is the characters and with this dance it's about delivering the performance."
Karen said: "It's looking good, I'm feeling him right here!"
This week Strictly Come Dancing is on Saturday 1st December at 6.50pm with the results show on Sunday 2nd December at 7.20pm on BBC One and BBC One HD.
