Strictly Come Dancing star Nicky Byrne has defended his pro partner Karen Hauer.
Karen joined the series this year from the US series So You Think You Can Dance and has been partnered with the Westlife singer.
"We're getting on great. she's absolutely brilliant, really ambitious and really fun," Nicky said.
However Karen's had a tough time from the judges, with Craig Revel Horwood blasting the pro dancer on the first live show for adding a lift into her and Nicky's Waltz.
But defending Karen, Nicky said: "I think she's been a little bit harshly judged, with the judges criticising the moves she's giving me.
"But she doesn't have the same experience as the other dancers, who know what the judges' like. But she's relaxed a bit because we've had a coupe of good weeks. She feels a lot more at home now."
And Nicky revealed that the pair had been getting on great in training for this week.
Nicky, who will be dancing the Charleston with Karen this week, said: "She doesn't crack the whip.
"She wants me to be comfortable and to dance the best I can. There's no point putting moves in will make look foolish."
Strictly Come Dancing 2012 continues Saturday, 24th November at 18:30 with the latest Strictly results show on Sunday 25th November at 1925 on BBC One and BBC One HD.
