Strictly Come Dancing 2012 star Denise Van Outen has said she doesn't have a game plan.
The West End performer topped the judges' leaderboard for the third time last night, getting the first tens of the series.
Craig Revel Horwood described her Charleston as the best in the history of the show, as the panel awarded Denise 39 points out of a possible 40.
But despite her recent run of top marks, Denise insisted that she wasn't a shoe in for the final.
She said: “We haven’t been at the top every week. It is changeable, which is why the show is so exciting to watch — it is so unpredictable.
“At the end of the day it’s not really about the leaderboard, it’s more about the public vote and whether or not you stay in.
“You could get straight scores and then not get the public vote. Obviously it is nice to be up there but it also adds pressure to stay there."
Speaking to The Sun this weekend, Denise insisted: “There are so many good people but I don’t look at who is the competition, it’s too early for any of that."
She added: “There is no game plan, it’s just to dance and to enjoy the experience.”
