Strictly Come Dancing's Denise Van Outen has revealed she's been left covered in bruises from her training sessions this week.
Tonight will see the West End star performing jive at Wembley Arena, and she's certainly been putting the hours in.
“I’m covered in bruises and all sorts. There is no way I’ll be getting my legs out in a hurry," Denise told The Sun newspaper. “Thankfully, I’ll be able to cover up with body stockings so I won’t have to flash any blackened flesh.”
But despite that, Denise insisted she still feels sexy when on the dance floor, explaining: “It depends what the dance is, some of them make you feel sexy.
“It is a nice feeling to move around the floor but I wouldn’t say if you are doing ballroom that you feel sexy because it is more of a romantic sort of dance.”
In an interview with the newspaper, Denise also revealed how her husband Lee Mead had been supportive of her, even the fake tan!
She said: "I love the fake tan and the costumes are amazing. Going a darker shade makes you feel more healthy.
“Lee is absolutely fine about it. He’s used to it as he is in the same business. When he was in Joseph he had to be spray-tanned every week as he spent eight weeks in a loin cloth.”
