Michael Vaughan has been piling on the fake tan for Strictly Come Dancing 2012 tonight.
The former England cricket captain has been trying to avoid the Strictly orange glow, but his luck has finally run out.
Now bosses have coated him in a double layer of fake tan for his salsa routine this evening.
“When you do Strictly there are three guarantees — you will have to wear sequins, you have to get a spray tan and Craig Revel Horwood is going to give you abuse," Michael told The Sun newspaper. “This week I’m doing the salsa so I can’t cover up too much. Although I did have a spray tan last week, this time I’m going for a double dip as I will be showing more flesh than usual.”
It's been a good few weeks for the sports star, having achieved personal bests of 31 points for the past two weeks, placing him second on the leaderboard.
But Michael, who is partnered with Aussie pro dancer Natalie Lowe, admitted it would be "remarkable" if he got close to winning the show.
"I would be crucified in the cricketing world if I said it would be a better feat to win Strictly," he told the newspaper. “But it would be my most challenging achievement. I’m not sure it would be up there with lifting the Ashes urn. But in terms of starting out as a non-dancer, to get anywhere close to winning would be remarkable.
“My wife Nichola had probably only ever seen me dancing once and that was at our wedding.”
