Strictly Come Dancing: Brendan Cole says Victoria Pendleton is struggling

Strictly Come Dancing 2012 star Victoria Pendleton is once again struggling, her pro partner Brendan Cole has said.

Brendan and Victoria were seen arguing in rehearsals last week over their Samba routine.

This week will see the pair tackle their first quick step of the series, and Victoria is having another tough time in training.

"At the moment, she’s struggling most with the showmanship. She’s not a performer – that’s the tricky bit," Brendan told the Metro newspaper this week. "I’ll have to bring out her inner showgirl."

The duo have been both at the top and bottom ends of the leaderboard already this series, but Brendan is determined that they'll make it through to Wembley Arena next weekend.

"We were second from the bottom the other week. One week you’ll have a fantastic time, the next week will be different," he said.

Teasing their upcoming performances, Brendan added to the newspaper: "The plan is to keep on going and make an impact."

Victoria herself wasn't so down about her hopes.

"Last week was a bad week I just couldn't remember the steps but this week has been a turn around," she said. "It's a great dance and it's really fun, cheerful routine."

This week Strictly Come Dancing is on Saturday 10th November at 6.30pm with the results show on Sunday 11th November at 7.25pm on BBC One and BBC One HD.
