Strictly Come Dancing 2012: Louis Smith remains favourite to win

Louis Smith (Strictly Come Dancing)

Louis Smith remains the Strictly Come Dancing 2012 favourite to win.

The Olympian was overtaken by Denise Van Outen on the judges' scoreboard at the weekend, but Louis looking hard to beat.

Once again Denise proved that she is both the best dancer and the best performer in the competition but the Olympic feel good factor remains strong so William Hill rate Louis Smith as their 6/5 favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing.

Denise is offered at 5/2, Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh 4/1 and former Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley 12/1. Victoria Pendleton’s pins may well have scored 10/10 but her dancing is probably not up to making her a genuine contender, she is a 20/1 outsider.

“Strictly looks like a three horse race, Louis has got off to a flyer but both Denise & Kimberley are hanging in there in the hope that he stumbles,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
