The X Factor 2012's ratings woes have continued this weekend, as rival Strictly Come Dancing increased its lead to well over 2million viewers.

Last night's Number Ones-themed live show averaged only 7.6million (32.3%) for ITV, the lowest week five rating since the very first series in 2004, when the equivalent episode scored 7.4million.

It was easily beaten by [cat c="strictly come dancing"]Strictly[/cat], which drew just shy of 10million (43.7%) to BBC One, meaning it had a whopping 2.4million more viewers. However, an extra 357,000 viewers (1.8%) tuned in to X Factor on ITV1+1.
