The woes of X Factor bosses continued this weekend, as the show lost yet more viewers to Strictly Come Dancing.
Last night saw the two telly shows both air their annual Halloween specials, and there were some frightful figures this morning.
For the fourth week in a row, The X Factor lost viewers, down this week to 8.4 million viewers on average between 8:25PM and 10:15PM last night.
That number, which includes those catching up on ITV1+1, is down 200,000 on the equivalent rating from last Saturday night.
The show's peak saw a similar decline, also down 200,000 viewers to 9.4 million from 9.6 million last weekend.
Strictly Come Dancing meanwhile averaged an ever strong 9.6 million viewers, now well over a million above The X Factor.
The Halloween special peaked with a massive 10.8 million viewers between 6:30PM and 8:20PM last night.
Strictly was also down week on week, but still managed to maintain its ratings crown.
Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight with the latest results show, where two more celebs will face the dance off and one will get the boot.
The X Factor 2012's latest results show follows straight after on ITV1, featuring performances from Fun. and Robbie Williams, as well as one more act being given the boot.
