Strictly Come Dancing 2012: Michael Vaughan set for exit

Michael Vaughan (Strictly Come Dancing)

Michael Vaughan has been tipped to exit Strictly Come Dancing 2012 this weekend, after narrowly avoiding the chop on Sunday.

With Johnny Ball and Jerry Hall having been booted from Strictly in the last two weeks, it appears that the knives are now sharpening for Michael Vaughan. The former England cricket captain is 7/4 favourite for the chop this week with Richard Arnold 9/4.

“Vaughan has not done particularly well but has survived due to the fact that Ball and Hall were worse,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “Unless major improvements are forthcoming this weekend, he could well be skittled out.”

Meanwhile one bookies has even begun taking bets on Lisa Riley's dress size once she finishes the show.

Ladbrokes reckon she'll continue to salsa herself slim making size 16 the 3/1 favourite. Even if she doesn't hit 16 it's still looking good as 18/1 is 7/2 while size 20 is a 4/1 shot.

In other Strictly news Michael continues to attract all the elimination cash as viewers bank on him to leave this weekend. He's currently the 2/1 favourite to go from Richard at 5/2.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: "Punters look set to pick up pounds as Lisa sheds them. Her dress size has dropped as fast as her odds in this competition."

He added: "All signs point to Michael being clean bowled this weekend."

Strictly Come Dancing returns this weekend on Saturday 27th October at 6.30pm for Strictly’s spooktacular Halloween special with the results show on Sunday 28th October at 7.20pm on BBC One and BBC One HD.
