Despite already being superfit before starting the show, the contestant dance rehearsals have seen the Olympian shed even more weight - mainly from her legs.
Speaking to the Radio Times this week, the cyclist said: “I have lost about five kilos, mostly in muscle mass from my bum and thighs. I look down at my legs and they don’t really feel like mine any more.”
She continued: “And I’m having trouble with my clothes – everything is looking a bit looser, nothing fits well and my jeans, which used to be tight on my bum and thighs, are practically falling off me.”
Victoria is partnered with Brendan Cole on the show, but has yet to hit her stride on the series.
Speaking on Loose Women yesterday, Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood told Victoria she needed to get over her nerves and stop crying.
He said: “She can’t stop crying. She was doing so well until the dress malfunction [on Saturday night] but that’s part of dancing, part of performing, things drop off… get on with it darling. You’ve got to move on… get over it.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns this weekend on Saturday 27th October at 6.30pm for Strictly’s spooktacular Halloween special with the results show on Sunday 28th October at 7.20pm on BBC One and BBC One HD.
