Denise Van Outen has revealed that her daughter isn't keen on Strictly Come Dancing!
Denise, who has a young daughter named Betsy with husband Lee Mead, admitted her children much prefer Peppa Pig than watching her on the BBC On show.
The West End star said: “Last Saturday I taped the show because she was in bed when it was on and I showed it to her on Sunday morning and went, ‘Look Mummy’s dancing.’
“And she just went, ‘I don’t want to watch this, I want to watch Peppa Pig’. That was the harsh reality of realising she just doesn’t care.”
Speaking to new! magazine this weekend, Denise also admitted criticism over her performance background had left her upset.
She told the magazine: “Lisa Riley danced when she was young. Kimberley Walsh has danced. Dani Harmer went to stage school. And Fern Britton did the Strictly Christmas special.”
Yesterday saw Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood defend Denise on Loose Women.
He told the ITV1 show: "It’s ridiculous, in every single Strictly we have always had people that have been trained in some way, shape or form. Look at [winner] Kara Tointon, look at Tom Chambers.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns this weekend on Saturday 27th October at 6.30pm for Strictly’s spooktacular Halloween special with the results show on Sunday 28th October at 7.20pm on BBC One and BBC One HD.
