Michael Vaughan has said that Denise Van Outen is in a different class to her Strictly Come Dancing rivals.
Denise wowed the judges with her Jive last Saturday night to top the leaderbaord with the best score of the series to date, 32 points out of 40.
Cricketer Michael said: "Denise was in a different class from everyone else. If a man from space had been watching they’d have thought it was two pros dancing."
But he insisted he didn't feel that Denise had an unfair advantage.
"People say it’s unfair because she’s been in shows before, but maybe it’s unfair that I’ve danced lots at 3am before. It’s a level playing field really," he told The Telegraph.
Speaking about the first results show, Michael revealed: "The viewers gave me and Nicky Byrne good rap, pulling us up from the bottom of the leader board so we weren’t in the dance off. That gives you confidence the public likes you.
"It was horrible after the main show, you have to go straight into the results show [which is pre-recorded on the Saturday night]. You’re on stage and thinking the last thing I wanna do is jive for my life on week one. It was horrible for Johnny [Ball] to have to go."
