Lisa Riley could prove an upset on Strictly Come Dancing, threatening favourite Louis Smith!
Lisa wowed the judges on the first live show to top the leaderboard with her cha cha and proved that week one was no fluke on last Saturday's second show.
Bookies William Hill now rate her at 10/1 to win the competition, slashed from an original 66/1. Louis Smith is still the 2/1 favourite, closely followed by Denise van Outen who is offered at 11/4.
“Lisa is the real deal and obvious crowd favourite. We are kicking ourselves for offering 66/1 for her just ten days ago as we have a number of customers who stand to win a tidy sum,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
Speaking about the favourite tag previously, Olympian Louis said: “I don’t feel like the favourite.”
He explained: “I’m learning the cha-cha-cha at the moment and it’s really hard work because it’s so quick. I haven’t quite nailed the routine; it’s not really my dancing skill set – I don’t think they’re ever going to need the moonwalk or body-popping.”
Meanwhile, TellyMix readers are backing Kimberley Walsh to win.
The Girls Aloud star is top of our latest popularity poll, edging out Lisa Riley, Louis Smith and Denise Van Outen.
Looking towards the next elimination, and it seems Richard Arnold will have to do a lot to avoid the bottom two for a second week running!
