Kimberley Walsh's Girls Aloud bandmates are loving her on Strictly Come Dancing, sending messages of support as well as cheering her on in training.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror this weekend, Kimberley revealed that she had consulted the group before signing up for the BBC One series.
“It was something I was deliberating about for a while. Once I decided I was seriously considering Strictly, I spoke to the girls about it to see what their feedback would be," Kimberley told the tabloid. “They all told me to do it and said it would be amazing and perfect for me.
“That kind of tipped the scales to have the confidence to say yes."
And the girls have continued to support Kimberley since she kicked off training last month.
She explained: “Last week Nicola came to rehearsals so she had a sneak preview and she gave me some tips and pointers and said afterwards ‘yeah, you listened to my points’.
“Cheryl was about to go on stage but she managed to watch me on the show later.
“Sarah and Nadine texted me. They all really enjoyed it and they are quite excited by it all.
"They are loving that they have got Strictly to sit in and watch on a Saturday night.”
Strictly Come Dancing 2012 continues tonight with the first results show of the series, which will see on celeb sent home.
