Girls Aloud are long odds-on to reunite as a five-piece on Strictly Come Dancing according to Ladbrokes.

It follows the countdown on the group's official website ending next week, headlined with the word 'TEN'.

Amidst talk of a reunion for their tenth anniversary the bookies are certain the girl band will appear on the BBC1 show by offering odds of 1/20 that they will take to the stage before the end of the series. And although time is running out for an arena tour this year it's 1/8 they tour the country in 2013.

They are also odds-on at 4/5 to top the charts with a number one single before the end of the year and it/s 10/1 they pick up their second festive top spot.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "Girls Aloud have a whole lot of history and it's no surprise to finally see them reunite on their tenth anniversary.

"Should they perform on Strictly fans are certain to jump back on the bandwagon and propel them up to number one in the charts."

Cheryl Cole reveals in her new autobiography that the group have recorded this year's Children In Need single, due for release in November.

The girls are also expected to go on tour and release a final greatest hits album, before finally splitting next year.

Strictly Come Dancing 2012 continues this Saturday night on BBC One, with all of the celebs performing their second dance. The first results show will follow on Sunday, with one celeb getting the boot!
