Strictly Come Dancing 2012: Aliona Vilani 'will return in two weeks'

Strictly Come Dancing pro Aliona Vilani will return to the show in 'two weeks', she has revealed.

The ballroom professional found herself ruled out of the weekend's first live show after fracturing her ankle during training.

Aliona, partnered with TV veteran Johnny Ball, was replaced by Lithuanian dance champ Iveta Lukosiute, who first danced with Johnny on Saturday night.

The pair will continue to rehearse and dance until Aliona gets back onto the dancefloor in a few weeks' time.

Aliona tweeted yesterday: "So after evaluating my MRI the doctor said I'll be able to go back to boogying in 2 weeks time! #fastrecovery."

Meanwhile Iveta and Jonny seem to have hit it off, despite her not knowing who he was.

She told BBC Breakfast last week: "After the first phone call, I didn't know who I was going to dance with or what had happened.

"I haven't seen his shows in Lithuania, but I've seen lots of things he's done [since] and I've read all about him and I think he's amazing."

The pair scored 17 points together for their Cha Cha Cha on Saturday night, putting them bottom of the leaderboard.

Strictly Come Dancing 2012 continues next Saturday night on BBC One, with all of the celebs performing their second dance. The first results show will follow on Sunday, with one celeb getting the boot!
