Louis Smith remains the Strictly Come Dancing 2012 favourite, despite Lisa Riley topping the leaderboard this weekend.

All fourteen of the celebs have done had their live first dance, and gone before the Strictly judges.

After a mixed bag of performances on Friday and Saturday night, bookies William Hill have been forced to shake up the odds of the celebs.

“This looks like the best line up we have seen for some time. There are three standout performers but having seen them all we believe there are nine possible winners in the draw,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.

LOUIS SMITH – 9/4 Confident and looked the part, deserved early favourite

KIMBERLEY WALSH – 10/3 Used to the limelight and looked the best of the girls on show

DENISE VAN OUTEN – 7/2 Everything you expected from someone with stage school experience, dance was good and one to watch

SID OWEN – 12/1 Much improved from training videos, with Ola as dance partner I think he will go well

VICTORIA PENDLETON -12/1 Struggled in rehearsals and timing was completely off, not sure whether it was nerves or just poor. Olympic wave support probably not enough.

NICKY BYRNE – 14/1 Didn’t win over the judges and struggled to connect to dance partner, looks a difficult partnership at this early stage

COLIN SALMON – 16/1 Looks good dancer, surprise contestant and package of the Friday night performers

DANI HARMER – 16/1 Looked good partnership with dance partner, maybe lack that spark to go a long way in competition

LISA RILEY – 20/1 Biggest surprise of the 1st week, highest judges score

MICHAEL VAUGHAN -25/1 Posture problems in first dance and struggled in rehearsals

FERN BRITTON – 50/1 A bit slow but steady start considering she opened the show

JERRY HALL – 50/1 Will struggle to win fan support as not taking the programme very seriously

JOHNNY BALL – 66/1 Has had to change partner during rehearsals, struggled with dance & timing. Will need to get public support a la John Sergeant.

RICHARD ARNOLD – 66/1 Probably the weakest dancer of the field, struggling to find fan support although could rope in celebrity big guns.

Strictly Come Dancing 2012 continues next Saturday night on BBC One, with all of the celebs performing their second dance. The first results show will follow on Sunday, with one celeb getting the boot!
