Victoria Pendleton has claimed no one can compete with Denise Van Outen on Strictly Come Dancing!

The Olympic cyclist ended up in tears on Friday night after forgetting the moves to her cha cha with professional partner Brendan Cole, leaving her bottom of the leaderboard.

A down Victoria has since labelled herself “a rubbish dancer” and claimed Denise van Outen, who topped the leaderboard, will win.

She told the Daily Mirror today: “It does feels a bit like none of us are going to be able to compete with her. I’m definitely not a professional like she is.”

Victoria added: “I thought I’d pick it up easily and it would be like training for cycling. But the moves are not sticking.”

However while Denise may have topped the leaderboard on Friday night, four other celebs managed to beat her score on Saturday's show. Lisa Riley, Kimberley Walsh, Louis Smith and Sid Owen all finished above the West End star on the overall leaderboard after the weekend's two shows.

Meanwhile, Victoria's pro partner Brendan has defended the dancer after first week nerves got to her.

“Next week she’ll be fine,” he said. “She’s the best celebrity I’ve been partnered with on the show.”

Strictly Come Dancing 2012 continues next Saturday night on BBC One, with all of the celebs performing their second dance. The first results show will follow on Sunday, with one celeb getting the boot!
